The Glenoch JK Brangus herd is run with the Angus herd in the relative management groups based on age and sex.
All Brangus females are joined from 12-14 months of age for 60 days and average calving intervals are recorded just like the Angus. All Brangus are recorded with the Australian Brangus Cattle Association and we record all available traits to submit to Brangus Breedplan.
Our Brangus bulls are well suited to those wanting a splash of Indicus content (20%-30%) in their herds, without sacrificing fertility, growth and carcase quality.
The challenge for all commercial producers in harsh environments is greater market flexibility, and therefore increasing carcase quality without compromising fertility. Our Brangus herd aims to combine the high fertility and carcase quality attributes of the Angus breed with the environmental adaptability attributes of the Brahman breed.
Phenotypically we like the bulls to show plenty of thickness and muscle, polled, quiet, deep through the flank with an Indicus skin type.

F707 has been a great find, a game changer and a bull that puts more thickness into his progeny than most Brangus sires.
F707 has now completed his fourth season for us and has 85 calves on the ground.
He excels for a number of EBV traits, particularly EMA as he is well in the top 1%.
His calves every year are some of the fastest growing and most eye appealing, and for those who like bone and great head shape, F707 excels.
The 12 Brangus bulls for sale are our most even and the best line we have offered.
