Bringing new bulls home from the sale…

June 7, 2022

Plan for a smooth transition when you take your new bull home from the sale!

Whether you purchase one or several new bulls, it's worth considering what you can do to ensure your new investment gets off to a favourable start and reaches its full breeding potential.

Post-sale, transporting bulls to their new home can often result in potential stress. It is common for bulls to be trucked long distances to a new location but the impact of travel and variable weather or climatic changes could contribute to stress and fatigue levels.

We pride ourselves on having adequate on-farm biosecurity and want to ensure that animals purchased continue to hold the SGA reputation of "Bulls That Work".

That's why we encourage buyers/prospective buyers to contact us anytime, pre or post-sale with any questions that may incur.
