This year we’re proud to offer 111 Angus & Brangus bulls on-property at “Glenoch” Chinchilla, QLD and online.

The catalogue, photos and video will be available soon on our website.

The sale bulls will be:
✅ Performance recorded with genomics
✅ DNA sire verified
✅ Vaccinated (7-in-1, 3-day, vibrio, IBR)
✅ Tested free of pestivirus
✅ Blooded for tick fever
✅ Semen motility & morphology tested
✅ Independently structurally assessed
✅ Dam calving data is provided on all bulls

Over the weekend we trucked our R weaner heifers to our lease block near Jandowie and we brought home our Q heifers for calving in August.

Tarawera is a very good growing out block for young cattle, so our weaner bulls will come over here soon too.

As the Q heifers, are first calvers, we will have them close by for monitoring when they begin calving in August.

With our bull sale coming up on August 11, we have 110 bulls. They are enjoying the last of the Leukena before it frosts. They will then go onto oats. Fortunately, favourable conditions have been with us over summer and we have a good body of grass and the recent rain has boosted our oats crop.

As we count down the days until sale day, we are selling our Private Treaty bulls. Today, we drafted them up into 3 different mobs for clients, some destined locally, some to Muttaburra and the remaining bulls are for Camoweal.

Our bulls have adapted well to the North Queensland country. Our long term clients have reported that the bulls transition well, as they are in working condition.

Recently we semen tested our Q bulls and we were delighted with the results. Our philosophy of producing bulls with high fertility is so important for us, to give our clients a guarantee that the bulls are fit to use. We believe testing for semen motility and morphology as part of our sale preparation gives the buyer added assurance that the product they are buying is ready to use. When the client buys a bull at our sale, they can be reassured the bull will be ready for work.

46/70 GLENOCH bulls scored over 80% plus motility. SGA Bulls have consistently scored high morphology

Our dedicated vet who examines the bulls has stated the “Excellent line of bulls’ motility. We are eagerly awaiting the morphology results”
